Sony\'s PCM D50 is een recorder die wav-formaat opneemt. Het apparaat kan wel mp3\'tjes afspelen, maar moet het vooral hebben van uitgebreide filtering, nauwkeurige LED\'s en twee condensatormicrofoons die een grote geluidsdruk (aankunnen. Op de 4 GB intern geheugen kun je twee uur op maximale kwaliteit (24 bit/96 Khz) vastleggen.
