Canopus a réalisé un nouveau boîtier de transfert, l\'ADVC-110. Celui-ci se connecte directement sur l\'entrée FireWire de l\'ordinateur, PC ou Mac, et offre l\'avantage de transférer les sources analogiques en numérique grâce à un Codec DV embarqué. Il est alimenté directement en énergie par la prise FireWire et son installation est un jeu d\'enfant. Pas de pilotes, pas de logiciel pour l\'activer ; un simple branchement et le tour est joué.
